Ever tried to fight a battle and always felt like you were on the losing end? As if you just kept getting the wrong end of the stick, or you were making the wrong choices and things would fall apart. Or maybe you didn't make any choices and things fell apart. Maybe nothing happened that you wanted to happen. But overall, it just wasn't your fight. Don't be dismayed, it happens to us all. I'm here to let you know..
Be aware of where you stand at battle
We usually get to the place where we feel like we know how to fight our battles and we're in so much control over ourselves and our lives that we forget the ONE who is in control. God. Maybe we are using the wrong tools to fight. Maybe we are fighting on the offense to advance ourselves and we've forgotten the one who advances...the Head, the Lead. It could be the opposite that we are fighting to defend what we have, and we've somehow forgotten who our DEFENSE is, or who our protector is. What I'm asking is what is your stance?
Where are you standing at the time of battle? Are you in position to be used to correctly?
Some examples can be if you tend to get angry quickly, is your immediate reaction of anger, the correct response to receive the result that you desire? probably not.... What about if you handle things by stepping away from the situation due to fear of confrontation? Is that the response needed to get the result you're seeking? I've had plenty of days where my immediate reaction was to be angry, spiteful, and difficult, but I had to see if I was blocking myself. So again. BE AWARE OF WHERE YOU STAND AT BATTLE. Yes, this is specifically for times of battle. Try to always fight your battles from a place of peace, love, and sound mind. Tame your tongue and allow God to be angry. Just not with you. Because we are all responsible for what WE do and how we respond no matter the situation. Let God be who He is. If He's angry, jealous, mourning, whichever, LET HIM BE. He can do as He so pleases, as He is the God of ALL things. A few reminders are that God flooded the earth, He set fire to a whole city, He destroyed a whole people, He allows for people to be in bondage, and rescues at the same time. He delivers, sets free, and brings light and life. With this being said, He is in control. Meaning that He has the power and the know-how to bring about what you may need. Our job is to do our job! He NEVER loses.
Let Him handle your battles.
